Our Task

Our task is to fulfill our mission as a church, to be ever more faithful witnesses to the Lord and to reject ways of living that are in conflict with the Spirit of the Gospel.

The Anglican Diocese of Manicaland would want to ensure that people are ministered to and are offered services in health and education. It also aspires a deeper understanding of God's work through partnerships with partners in mission in the Worldwide Anglican Communion.

Our Objectives

The objectives of the Anglican Diocese of Manicaland are:

To proclaim the gospel to the people in Manicaland.
To maintain and expand Diocesan educational, health and theological institutions.
To consistently participate in national activities which contribute to the social, economic and political development of Zimbabwe.
To run HIV/AIDS home based and orphan care programs in line with prevailing preventions and intervention of diseases.
To use modern financial management and administration systems to ensure the smooth and professional running of the Diocese of Manicaland.
