Orphanage Homes Bonda Orphanage Children's Home
page 3 Background Bonda Mission Children's Home is an institution that was founded by the Community of the Holy Transfiguration situated at St. David's Bonda Mission in 1992. It is within the Anglican Diocese of Manicaland. Aims The orphanage specific aim is to care for infants from one day old to six years old. We have several children who are above the required age group due to that they have nowhere to go since other homes are full. To care for the children in the best possible manner, trying to substitute the family and enabling them to grow up in a caring and loving environment. We take children whose mothers have died, mainly from HIV/AIDS, those who are mentally handicapped, and those abandoned. We have 24 children: 4 infants, the youngest is 3 months old; 6 in primary school; and 14 in pre-school. Projects
