Vision

To seek to convert many people to become devoted and dedicated Christians and above all to have many men joining Chibvuwi.

Objectives

The objectives of Vabvuwi is to:

Bring with God's help people to Christianity.
Visiting those in need of the Word, the sick, the suffering, the lapsed, and others.
Keep and maintain the holiness of the wedding sacrament.
To show true love to the whole family and other people.
Desist completely from taking alcoholic drinks, any intoxicating drugs, smoking any type of tobacco; adultery, betting on horses and cards; consulting ancestral spirits.
Assist the priest of church leadership in conducting prayers or church services.
Pay tithes and any other monetary contributions to the church.
Not to take any sides each time there is a dispute.

Activities

To meet as Vabvuwi regularly for prayers. To assist in any church work, spiritual or other work. To pray, visit and help the sick, the needy and those suffering.

Further Information

Vabvuwi are found in all the Anglican Dioceses of Zimbabwe including the new Masvingo Diocese. Each diocese has a Diocesan Executive Committee and the diocesan committees have smaller administrative structures, that is, district executive committees and branch committees.

Nationally, Vabvuwi are in the process of raising funds to build a National Anglican Vabvuwi Memorial Clinic at St. Clare in Murehwa.
